1920 ~ 2010
Frank Neale, devoted Husband, beloved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, February 19, 2010.
Frank was born on August 21, 1920. He was a respected leader of the pharmacy profession and served as President of the BC Pharmaceutical Association from 1971 – 1972. He was also one of the founding members of the Social Credit Party and was actively involved in his community. He was a long time resident of North Vancouver, where he opened Neale’s Pharmacy in 1949.
He and Audrey, his best friend and wife of 66 years moved to Kamloops 10 years ago. He loved to golf and one of his fondest memories was playing in the Blazer’s Alumni Golf Tournament, as he always scored lowest in his age category.
He will be sadly missed by all his family, especially by his beloved wife, Audrey, his 5 children, Walter, Keith, David (Jackie), Robert (Catherine), Kathryn (Bill), his 13 grandchildren, Michael (Courtney), Bryan (Krystal), Richard, Angela, Karli, Peter(Helene), Ryan, Geoff, Christopher(Heather), David (Tarah), Bradley, Melissa, Adam, and his 2 great grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandre, his sister Margaret Price and his nieces and nephew.
In his memory, the First Annual Frank Neale Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Mount Paul Golf Course, Kamloops. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the SPCA, 1211-8th St., Kamloops BC V2B 2Y3, in lieu of flowers.
