Daisy Belle Allan of Kamloops passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 91 years of age.
She will always be remembered by her loving boys, Fred Jr. (Liza Jane) of Langley BC, Ray (Grace & family) of Vernon BC, Don (Marilynn) of Kamloops BC, and Wayne & family of Kamloops; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; brother Ray Miller of Clinton; sisters Marg, Dot, Doreen and Ethel; the Tressiera Family, the Miller Family, The McNeil Family, the Hances Family, and the Grinder Family.
Daisy Belle was born on the Big Bar Ranch in Clinton BC on November 15, 1919, and was married to Fred Allan for 66 years. Mother stayed at home as a homemaker, raising her four boys and many others. She loved her horses and one in particular grabbed her fancy, “Mo.” She also tremendously enjoyed her yearly trips to Yuma, Arizona with her husband Fred. Daisy Belle was indeed a wonderful and caring Mother and would bake those terrific buns at Christmas time.
We will surely miss her and she will always be in our thoughts.
A Service of Remembrance will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
