Plan for the Future
One of the most thoughtful ways you can express your love for your family is by arranging your affairs well and by advance planning for the end of your life.
Advance Planning Makes a Lot of Sense
- Handle the many issues related to Finances & Accounting.
- Be prepared for the contingencies of longevity, illness & death.
- Consider all the issues around wills, health care directives & estate planning.
- Avoid fraud and financial abuse.
- Eliminate potential disagreements.
- Take into account the rising cost of Funerals and avoid emotional overspending.
- Ensure that your wishes are expressed and will be carried out.
- Spare your family emotional burdens caused by having to make critical decisions in a time of stress.
Ceremonies & celebrations are an important part of our heritage, but they don't just happen... they are planned.
How Do I Go About Advance Planning?
- Talk to family and friends about what you wish.
- Find a Pre-Need Counselor who listens to your wishes and offers you options without imposing their own ideas on you.
- Ask for a Wishes and Memories Book to help you record your plans.
- Make informed decisions about your Will, Power of Attorney & Healthcare Directives.
- Know the Insurance Company that you are working with and understand your policy.
- Choose a payment plan that works for you if you wish to pre-pay and be sure you understand the policy and have appropriate paperwork kept in a safe place.
