Ryan Anthony Pinneo 1993 — 2016

Ryan Anthony Pinneo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Anthony Pinneo at the age of 22.

Ryan is survived by his loving mom Sandra, caring dad Kirk,  younger brother Jason, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved him dearly.

So until then as said by a close friend…

“I just wanted to tell you some thing’s I hope you know.

Whenever any of us were with you, we lived in your world, where words are too long, chirps are guaranteed and seeking out or creating sketchery is of the utmost importance. In this world, we saw how you lived – unapologetically, fearlessly, and with endless optimism – and we saw a person we wanted to be more like. You shared your brazen confidence with all of us, always reminding us to do what makes us happy, and to not worry about what others think.

I’ll never forget that, and I’ll never forget how big you would dream.”

A celebration of life will be held in the Sa-Hali Secondary Gym on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 at 7pm. 255 Arrowstone Drive, Kamloops, BC.

Dress is casual and there will be an opportunity for anyone to share a favourite memory.

In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice if you so desire, in honour of Ryan.

A great kid and a polite fine young man. Lots of kids have come into my life because of my job, Ryan was one of them because for the first few years I saw him daily. He will be missed and never forgotten. Sandra, Kirk and Jason enjoy the good times and he will always be with you. Ernie Lusk

I remember a happy, fun loving little boy who grew into a polite, well mannered and VERY well liked young man. I loved watching all those little boys at elementary school doing what little boys do best – have fun. I trust happy memories will help you through this difficult time. Betty Ann Beatty

    Dear family,

My heart is broken for you. I can’t imagine your pain. I have such fond memories of Ryan. His engaging smile and love of a good time at school. Loved his spirit with his classmates. He was a fun loving member of a group of boys who supported each other and enjoyed each other’s company. What a group they were to teach. See you on Saturday. Eileen Jones

I did not know Ryan but I was reading this and wanted to leave a few words to his family and friends. I hope that this bible text can provide you with a little bit of comfort and hope as you continue to cope. Take care. John 5:28,29-“Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…”

“Even though your loved one has gone, in our hearts we will remember…because we know that someone who has been loved is never lost”.
Too often we’re brainwashed that success in life means moving upwards at all costs. All the ladders you climb and the titles you add to your name die when you do. No one else remembers those things.
However, being a good person, a loyal and trustworthy friend, helping others without being asked – those qualities rub off and live on in others long after you’re gone.
Ryan, you will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being a friend.
Sandra, Kirk and Jason – you have an angel you can call by name. Our deepest condolences.
Love Jack, Kathy, Ashley and Dylan L.

Lee Anne and I just heard of this news and are so very saddened to hear about the sudden passing of your son Ryan. We didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Ryan but after some reading – what an outstanding young man! We don’t have our own kids and can’t begin to imagine what your family must be going through. Try and take good care of yourselves as you go through this.
