"I am the owner of Kamloops Funeral Home and have been involved in the funeral business for over 27 years. I grew up in Smithers BC where I learned the funeral business from my grandfather and father at the DeFrane Funeral Home (later, R.A. Schrader Funeral Home). I took my funeral directing/embalming apprenticeship under the tutelage of my family. In 1998, my wife Eloise and I and our newborn son Luke, moved to sunny Kamloops. Two more children followed, son Jacob and daughter Lillian. I purchased Kamloops Funeral Home with the desire to continue a long tradition of Family Funeral Service. I stay active in the community by serving on the Kamloops Christian School Board, participating in and organizing many charitable fundraisers, and through involvement with the Beaver and Cub Scout programs, Dance Theatre, and Minor Baseball."
