Marjorie Baron passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017.
Marjorie, was born in Ashcroft BC on April 10th 1927 to Edith and Charles Pollard. Marjorie’s mother heard a lady in the next bed name her baby Marjorie, her mother loved that name from the minute she heard it, so she named her baby Marjorie also.
Marjorie spent most of her childhood raised in and around the Clinton area, in 1946 she met the man of her dreams, Arnold Baron. Marjorie and Arnold were Wed in the eyes of the Lord on October 21, 1947. These two had a long and fulfilled marriage, being able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 1997. Arnold predeceased Marjorie in 1998, with Marjorie telling him “Arnold, this is one journey you have to take by yourself, I will follow you when the time comes.” A promise she has now kept.
During their years together Marjorie and Arnold had 3 children, Mary 1948, Arnold 1950 and Marjorie 1952. Predeceased Marjorie is her one true love Arnold Baron, her eldest Daughter Mary Forstbauer, 2 of her grandchildren, her parents, all her siblings and many family and friends.
Marjorie’s passion was her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren, she loved them all with all her heart. Marjorie is survived by her son in law; Hans Forstbauer {Mary Forstbauer), Chilliwack BC, — Son – Arnold Baron {Sandy}, Lloydminster Sask. — Daughter- Marjorie Appleby (Art), Cache Creek BC. — Best Friends and heart adopted son and daughter – Pat & Bob McKinnon, Calgary Alberta. 25 grandchildren, over 50 great grandchildren, now ranging from age 22 down to waiting in the belly {2 new great grandchildren to be born in around February 2018} and many many friends calling her Marj, Granma Speedy or Mom and even one or two who called her ”my girlfriend”
The activities she loved were, going to her Church, Bowling, Ladies Legion, any game of cards.
We will all miss Marjorie with her ever visible smile and her positive attitude towards basically everything, but we all must remember that our memories and the Legacy of Marjorie Baron will live on in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life was held for Marjorie onThursday, September 21, 2017 at Sage Hills Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Paul Ford officiating.
Marjorie’s remains will be transported to Mankota Saskatchewan, at which time she will be reunited with her husband In the Mankota cemetery.

1:00 oclock to about 3+, following with
her Ashes being taken over to Mankota
