Heather and I became close friends during the last 6 months of her life. We shared much laughter and many tears. We went for lunches and dinners, walked the river trail and attended several plays. I will always remember the time when we were so deep in conversation that we were almost late for the play! She loved going to ladies’ birthday lunches. She gave me a beautiful, red-cardinal ornament to hang on my Christmas tree. I shall cherish it, as I cherished our friendship.
I’ve known Heather since her early twenty’s
full of laughter and joy.
Heather always greeted me with a warm
sincere embrace. She was always full of life
and a giving soul. Alan and I will never forget
the memories we shared with you.
We will miss you Heather.
