Jessie Paterson Birrell born in Burris, Ont., July 27, 1921, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2014 in Kamloops, BC. Jessie was predeceased by her brothers Tom and Morrison and sister-in-law Eileen. She is survived by her brother Bill in Emo, Ont., sisters-in-law Eleanor and Rita; three nieces, two nephews and six great-nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful nursing staff at Overlander Residential Care, specifically the Blueberry Nursing Station. A Memorial Service will take place on August 30, 2014 at 10:00 am at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1136 6th Ave. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the SPCA or St. Andrews Church.

My condolences to Jessie’s family. She was a lovely lady and super neighbour to me for over 30 years. Her friends and her cats were top of her priority list. She will be missed.
