GEORGE FREDERICK HUMPHREY 1951 — 2025

GEORGE FREDERICK HUMPHREY

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to George Frederick Humphrey. Born to George and Ada Humphrey of Knutsford, BC  on November 12, 1951 he passed away at home on February 11, 2025. At true Kamloopsian, George was born at Royal Inland Hospital and spent his life here.

George spent most of his working life in mobile home industry and long-haul trucking. For all his skills in the trucking industry, he considered himself and old farmer heart. He could turn his hand to almost anything and passed a lot of his knowledge on to his children.

George is survived by his children, Christopher, Megan (son Noah), Matthew (Kerry Heady), Amanda Baldock (sons Ashton and Nate), Scott (Olya), foster son Len Olson (Jocelyn, daughter Ava, Kalen and Jack.  Further survived by brother Steve (Chad and Diedre Mann (Colby, Jaxson and Sawyer) sister Helen (Nels, deceased) Saemerow, sister Christine Resch (Nicole, Gabby)  and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Moe, brother Mike (surviving daughters Jen and Angela).

There will be a celebration of life in the spring and we ask people to keep touch with family for date and place.  This hardworking man will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
