I am so glad that Les introduced me to his mom. Alice was such a kind lady with interesting stories about Valemount history, family and community. Her love of art tech was amazing and I was honoured when she allowed me a couple pieces the last time I stopped for a visit. I was blessed by friendship when I was invited to bingo. Through Alice and her children I was welcomed into the community. I send my deepest condolences to Les, Phyllis, Judy, Ben and the rest of the family. Your “Mom” was very special, thru your sorrow and grief don’t forget to share all the amazing memories you all have!

Thinking of her 102 life span Alice was Remarkable.
From the prairies to the last bingo, she could have a series of books!! Her life was a teaching of resilience, of sacrifice, of unconditional love, of humour and of living fully. What a blessing. Rest in Peace Alice.
Condolences to each member of her family. ♥️
“Here she comes” shouts those waiting for her.

Strongest woman I knew. Suffered a lot of hardship during many of those years yet still had a smile and love for everyone.
