It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of my beloved brother, Cal Marr. Loving son and brother, amazing Uncle and great Uncle! The protector. He was the most generous, kind man and loyal friend.

The voice of wisdom. Often sharing pointers & do-it-yourself tips. Cal was a grill master, loved good food and would send us new trending recipes. Which we would then have to cook, requiring us to make numerous trips to the grocery store.

Cal had many close friends and as a young Kelowna teen enjoyed waterskiing, tennis, skiing and golf. He had a love for Mustangs and being with the boys. Known for his integrity and work ethic, Cal’s 27 year career with CN was his passion and the guys were like family.

He was brave and courageous, although he struggled recently with his ongoing heart condition. Never complaining, he held on till the end.

We were blessed with a surprise visit and family dinner the day before his passing, this will be a cherished memory that will remain in our hearts.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th at 12pm in the Immaculate Conception Church
839 Sutherland Avenue in Kelowna.
A Kelowna reception to honour Cal will be held at 3:30 to 6:30 pm please RSVP to Sandi Marr by text: 250-317-6357 or Safron2004@hotmail.com or via Facebook messenger.

A further reception to honor Cal will be held in Kamloops in July 2025.
