SATPAUL “PAUL” SINGH DHILLON 1961 — 2025

SATPAUL “PAUL” SINGH DHILLON

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Satpaul (Paul) Singh Dhillon — a beloved husband, proud father, uncle, cousin, and dear friend. Paul passed away peacefully at his family home in Kamloops on September 16, 2025, at the age of 64.

Home, family, and fun were Paul’s greatest values. Born and raised in Kamloops, BC, alongside his three siblings, Paul built a life rooted in love, laughter, and connection. He raised his two children, Brandon and Kacey, with his wife of 38 years, Parminder. Paul instilled these same values in his children and was deeply committed to giving them every opportunity to succeed. He showed incredible perseverance and strength throughout his life, always working hard to provide a stable and loving home.

From a young age, Paul was a determined worker, taking on multiple jobs to support his passions—especially his love for cars. He had a particular fondness for his BMW convertible and his Porsche 911. Paul also loved traveling with his family, with memorable trips to New York, Ottawa, and Las Vegas among his favorites.

Paul remained closely connected to the Kamloops community throughout his life. A devoted Blazers and Canucks fan, he rarely missed a game, often watching and cheering alongside his best friend, Steve. His deep local roots were reflected in the countless friendships he built. Often described as the life of the party, Paul was vibrant, friendly, and outgoing. He had a rare gift for making people feel instantly welcome and valued. It seemed like he knew everyone in town—and everyone who knew him will remember his warmth, humor, and magnetic spirit.

Paul was predeceased by his mother, Gian Kaur; his father, Tara Singh; and his niece, Stephanie. He is survived by his loving wife, Parminder; his son, Brandon (Danielle); his daughter, Kacey; his siblings, Dave (Narinder), Sheila, and Kathy; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and family friends.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, on Tuesday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. Following the service and cremation, prayers and a reception will be held at the Kamloops Sikh Temple, 700 Cambridge Crescent.

In lieu of flowers, and if so desired, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation in memory of his niece, Stephanie.

Paul’s legacy is one of laughter, connection, and love. His memory will live on in the stories, smiles, and hearts of all those who had the absolute fortune to know him.
