JODIE LYNN BEAULIEU 1977 — 2026

JODIE LYNN BEAULIEU

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jodie Lynn Beaulieu, age 48, of Kamloops, BC, who left us way too soon on January 15, 2026. Born on February 22, 1977, in Geraldton, Ontario, to Patsy Skene and Rene Beaulieu, Jodie could always brighten a room with her dazzling smile.

Jodie arrived six minutes after her twin brother Jonah, shocking everyone in the delivery room—because no one knew she was there! At just 3.5 pounds, she was a fighter from the very beginning: feisty, resilient and determined, traits she carried throughout her life. Patsy and Rene were overjoyed to welcome both their baby boy and their tiny little girl.

Jodie spent most of her youth in Geraldton before moving to Winnipeg in 1999 to attend university. She remained there for many years before eventually relocating to Kamloops, where she built the next chapter of her life.

On January 12, 2026, Jodie suffered a medical episode and tragically fell into a coma from which she was unable to recover. On Thursday, January 15th, surrounded by her family, she was taken off life support. In her final act of kindness, Jodie was able to help many others through organ donation. Her family found comfort and peace in knowing that even in their loss, her legacy carries on through the lives she touched.

Jodie leaves behind her mother, Patsy Skene, her brother Jonah and his children, Corey (Kevyn), Logan and Boady (Olivia); her stepmother Annie; her siblings Cody and Jessica (Mike) and their children, Jakob and Maxwell; Uncles Bill, Ron, Gaetan, Norm, Great-Aunt Joan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in Kamloops, BC, and Thunder Bay, ON.

Jodie is predeceased by her father, Rene (2016); Grandma G (aka 2-cents), Grandmere and Grandpere, and her uncles Hughie, Daniel, and Jean.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Emergency, Trauma and ICU at Royal Inland Hospital and the BC Transplant Team for their exceptional care, compassion, and support during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honour of Jodie’s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unforgettable presence on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, from 2:00–4:30 p.m. at 177 Tranquille Rd (Anavets).
