It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful, precious mother, Nancy Ferguson.
Nancy will forever be remembered with love by her daughters Sandra (Mike) Debbie (Rob) and Donna (Tony) as well as her grandchildren Matthew, Ryan (Chanelle), Jordan (Kylie), Justin and great-grandchildren Kimi, Bentley, Brooklyn, Lucas, Madison, and Emryn. Nancy is predeceased by her loving husband George, her grandson Steven, granddaughter Nevada, her parents Marjorie and David and her brother Ted.
Nancy was a kind, loving sweet woman filled with beauty and grace. Before becoming a resident at Pine Grove Seniors Centre she enjoyed gardening, walking her dogs, baking, and going to garage sales. Nancy’s greatest joy, besides the love she had for her family, was the love she had for animals and all her many dogs over the years. They adored her as much as she adored them! Nancy spent many years as an award-winning Avon Lady and as a salesclerk at the Saan store and later Walmart.
We have so many cherished memories of our mom, waking up in the morning to the smell of freshly baked buns, summers swimming in the pool, shopping trips, lunches and just relaxing on the sundeck admiring the beautiful yard and being together. We have been truly blessed to have had such a wonderful Mom! We take comfort in knowing she is no longer struggling, and is with our beloved Dad in heaven.
To the amazing staff at Pine Grove, thank you for the love, kindness, compassion and exceptional care you showed our mom. It means more than words can express. In the final chapter of her life, you were there for her, and for that we are truly grateful. God bless you all!
No formal ceremony will be held but when you think of Nancy, remember her with love and a smile. It isn’t what we leave behind; it’s what we leave in people’s hearts that counts.
