In loving memory of Opal Jean Seguin, it is with heavy hearts that we share her passing. While was are deeply saddened, we find comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
Opal was born on December 15, 1933 in Salem, Oregan and passed away on June 10, 2026 in Kamloops, B.C.
Opal is survived by her husband Gerry Seguin; children Lydia Gilbert (Raymond) of Kamloops, B.C., Barry Werner (Coreena) of Kamloops, B.C., Mark Werner of Vancouver, B.C., Tim Werner of Kamloops, B.C.; grandchildren Robin Mangell (Rowena), Dwayne Mangell (Andrea), Kristy Martin, Jonathan Werner (Roxanne), Ryan Worby, Luke Werner, Reid Werner, Matthew Werner, Kionna Reese Wells, Nicholas Werner, Owen Werner, Jenna Werner; great grandchildren Hailey Stevenson (Gage), Joshua Mangell (May), Casey Mangell, Hudson Mangell, Forrest Martin (Brandon), Kalista Martin (Devin), Jacob Martin, Jesse Wilson, Kourtney Harris, Bentley Worby, Eden Worby, Kayson Werner Wells; great great grandchildren Makenna Stevenson, Winter Joy Stevenson, Olivia Stevenson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Opal is predeceased by her parents H.B. and Lillie May Persing, her first husband Robert Werner, brother Orville Persing, grandchildren Melanie Worby, Jamie Kroll, Darcy Werner.
Opal’s passion was spending time with her family, friends and her involvement with her church. Opal was an officer in the Salvation Army in her early days. She also became a Reverend with the Independent Assemblies of God.
Spending time in her garden and flower garden and playing the piano brought her great joy. She was kind, generous and had a genuine love for others. Her love for Jesus Christ was the most important thing to her and we are happy to know that she is now in the presence of our Lord.
