
Marjorie Baron passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017.
Marjorie, was born in Ashcroft BC on April 10th 1927 to Edith and Charles Pollard. Marjorie’s mother heard a lady in the next bed name her baby Marjorie, her mother loved that name from the minute she heard it, so she named her baby Marjorie also.
Marjorie spent most of her childhood raised in and around the Clinton area, in 1946 she met the man of her dreams, Arnold Baron. Marjorie and Arnold were Wed in the eyes of the Lord on October 21, 1947. These two had a long and fulfilled marriage, being able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 1997. Arnold predeceased Marjorie in 1998, with Marjorie telling him “Arnold, this is one journey you have to take by yourself, I will follow you when the time comes.” A promise she has now kept.
During their years together Marjorie and Arnold had 3 children, Mary 1948, Arnold 1950 and Marjorie 1952. Joseph Etienne Cyrille Vidal, the love of my life passed away quietly September 19, 2017. Born November 24, 1929 in St. Louis Lotbiniere, Quebec. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 63 years, Gemma, his sons’ Leslie (Sheila), David (Jodi); granddaughter Jessica (Michel) Boucher; great grandson Remi; grandson Andrew ( fiance Cynthia) and children; brother in law Guy Voisvert of Quebec. Also many nieces, nephews in Alberta and Quebec. Cyrille was the last living of 13 children.
Cyrille had many trades, welder, pipefitter, millwright and lagger with asbestos. He worked in a pulp mill in Hinton, Alberta for 15 years. Moved to Kamloops in 1972 where he started working for Weyerhaeuser pulp mill until his retirement in December of 1989. Another one of his trades was a boat builder, he built row boats, cabin cruisers and kayaks. He played hockey until he was 42, coached hockey in Hinton Alberta and Kamloops. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Terry Teruo Shishido on September 14, 2017 surrounded by his wife and two sons.
He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Beth, sons Craig (Jasmine), Todd and grandson Austin, who brought him great joy. He was also survived by his brother Eric (Maggie), sister Ruth (Paul) Beday, brother-in-law Keith (Glenda) Jones and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Terry was predeceased by his father Masae, mother Miyoko and his in-laws Norman and Margaret Jones.

Doris Blundell passed away peacefully at Overlander Residential Care Home in Kamloops, BC on September 2, 2017 at 96 years of age.Doris was born in Aberdeen, Scotland September 17, 1920 and came to Canada shortly after her 6th birthday. Survived by her sons: Brian (Marion) Blundell, Kamloops and Mark Blundell, Lac La Hache, BC; four granddaughters: Jacqui (Peter) Martell, Logan Lake, Michelle (Randall) Blundell-Dunkerley, Calgary, AB, Melissa (Angus) Muir, Surrey , Brooke (Sam) |Sommer, Kamloops; two grandsons: Clark Blundell, Clearwater, Stuart (Kori) Lac La Hache, BC; 13 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris was predeceased by her loving husband Roderick (November 3, 2002), her oldest son and daughter-in-law , Derek ( June 3, 2013), Claire Blundell (Nov 28, 2009) and granddaughter Nicole Blundell ( Nov 1, 1997), (Brian & Peggy). Doris was a talented painter, potter, sculptor, doll maker and quilter.
