Deborah Lee Parkinson was born on July 24, 1960 in Enderby B.C.  and  later resided in Avola B.C. and passed away on December 20, 2014 at the age of 54 years.

Biji passed away the morning of January 10, 2015. Biji was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,  great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was a gentle soul with a kind, loving and tender heart. Biji was always smiling. She will be missed dearly.

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Edwin Pedersen, who just turned 86 years old.

Over the past year Tom has bravely faced many health issues which required major surgery, but he always managed to bounce right back and continued to live a positive life. This time his determination could not help him.

Edith Eleanor McIntyre (nee Simmons)

of Kamloops, BC passed away on January 3, 2015 at 78 years of age.  Edith is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ken McIntyre; her children:  James (Carmen) McIntyre, Beverly (Randy) Blumer, Brenda (Brent) Eger; her grandchildren:  Taylor McIntyre, Matthew (Marilia) & Zachary Blumer, Sondra & Evan Eger, and siblings:  Arnold (Cathy) Simmons, Gary (Carol) Simmons and Ken (Barb) Simmons.  Edith was pre-deceased by her parents, George & Elizabeth Simmons of Edson, AB and her beloved sister, Doreen Werzun.

Edith started her life on the family homestead north of Peers, Alberta, and later moved to the Coal Branch area where her father found work in the lumber mills and her mother served as camp cook.  When Edith was old enough to attend high school, she had to move into Edson to live with her Aunt’s family.Read More & Leave Condolences »

Sandra Walters 1958 — 2014

Sandra Walters

March 03, 1958 – December 21, 2014

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandy.  While surrounded by her loving family, Sandy passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on December 21, 2014.

Sandy fought a victorious battle with pancreatic cancer in 2008, only to have it return earlier this year.  Her positive and unyielding attitude was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She fought a courageous battle right to the end.

Sandy is survived by her soul mate and loving husband, Mark and companion Joey.  Also left to mourn Sandy’s passing are her father, Terry McDonnell, sisters Trish (Robert) Thellend, Carole (Brian) Popp, brother Jamie (Colleen) as well as numerous relatives and Mark’s family, mother Liz, sister Karen (Scott) Beacom, brothers Dave, Paul (Darla) and Mike (Shannon).  Sandy was predeceased by her mother, Elaine in 2004 and brother, Greg in 2005.Read More & Leave Condolences »
