BENJAMIN LAWRENCE ATKINSON 1983 — 2023

BENJAMIN LAWRENCE ATKINSON

June 15, 1983-June 8, 2023

It is with great sadness that on June 8th 2023, our beloved son, brother, father, nephew and cousin, Benjamin has passed away.

The past few years he has been struggling with drug addiction, homelessness, and depression.   The last few months with help from his family, ASK Wellness, and friends, he had been trying very hard to kick his addiction, but sadly it was not to be.

He was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, his brother Oscar and his daughter Hannah.

He is survived by his daughter Freja, son Jaxon and his estranged wife Jessica.   As well as his mom Wanda, dad Larry (Angee), sister Sarah (Greg), grandfather Gary Warman, in-laws Billie and Mario Nicoletti, and many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada.

He is very much loved and will be extremely missed by all.

There will be no formal service but a gathering of family and friends will be held at Kamloops Funeral Home on June 23rd at 11 am – 2 pm. All are welcome.

Condolences may be sent to the family from

Dearest Wanda, Sarah, and family, my heart hurts for all of us. I have such fond memories of Ben from Parkcrest days…and Oscar as well. I can’t make it to the gathering on Friday because I’m out of town. I would really like to connect with you when I’m in Kamloops. Sending lots of love, light, and hugs❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
As always, Lillian aka Ms Kwan
