DOROTHY IRENE COX 1932 — 2022

DOROTHY IRENE COX

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy Irene Cox (nee Moen) at the age of 90, on June 14, 2022.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her 3 children David (Marianne) Hall, Susan (Richard) Birmingham, Catherine (Neil) Ramsay, her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husbands Evert (Ed) Hall and George Cox.

Born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan in 1932, Dorothy spent the next 90 years enhancing the lives of everyone that had the pleasure to know her.

She lived a full and happy life. She enjoyed travelling around the world where she embraced cultures and people she met on her travels. She was a generous and amazing woman who leaves a void with her passing.

Her family would like to thank the fantastic staff at Ridgeview for their compassionate care of Dorothy in her last few years.

By request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations can be made to a charity of their choice.

Condolences may be sent to the family from

Very sad, going to miss aunt Dorothy.
I remember going to their place in westside
many times when I was younger. She will be greatly missed.

To my longtime and very special friends Cathy& Susan, I am and David. I am so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. I did not know know about it until today when I saw it in the paper. I am so very sorry. I adored your lovely mother
and want you to know I am thinking of you all. I have such
Great memories of your Mom when we lived right
next door and I spent many many hours over at
your place. Your Mom was the nicest lady!! Always kind
to me. I will remember her as always smiling and
Laughing. I miss you all and am sending my love to
You and wishing you well at this sad time.

I didn’t get to spend much time with my grandma Dorothy, but she seemed like a kind woman. May she rest in peace.
