Emmanuel “Manny” Christian David Brooks was born on October 25, 1991, in 100 Mile House, British Columbia, and passed away on March 11, 2026, in Kamloops, British Columbia, at the age of 34.
Manny will be deeply missed by his beloved child, Diamond Dyson Brooks; his mother, Shellyann Brooks; and his siblings, Breanna, Brian, and Jessica. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Jennett Hepburn, as well as his nieces and nephews, Iyla and Soulon.
He was predeceased by his father, Brian McLatchy, and his great-grandmother, Lucille Hepburn.
Manny was taken from us too soon and will be forever sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11am in the Kamloops Funeral Service, 285 Fortune Drive.

my heart breaks for the family of this young man. I was friends with his mother many years ago. she would talk about her children with pride. with the passing of Manny, words of comfort cannot come soon enough.
Growing up together gave us so many memories I’ll always hold onto. As life went on we took different paths, but every time I saw you we still stopped to talk and that always meant something to me. Thinking of the family and sending so much love during this difficult time. You won’t be forgotten. Love Kristina
