It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Frederick “Roy” McFadyen at age 72 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 44 years, daughters Cindy (Andy), Tricia (Wesley) as well as grandchildren Zackary, Johnathan, Sophia and Nolan who he adored, his brother Terry (Ginny), as well as many other close relatives, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Graham and Alice McFadyen and George and Margaret Long.
Roy had a great sense of humour like no one else and was always good for a laugh. No family gathering will ever be the same.
A special thank you of the ICU staff at RIH who took such great care of Roy.
No formal service by request.

My condolences to Linda and Family. I worked with Roy back in 1994/1995 at SCES on the Tkumlups Band land. Roy was such a card I loved his sense of humor. We still bumped into one another once in while in the mall and he was always happy to chat.
