Garret Nicholas Getz 1991 — 2019

Garret Nicholas Getz

It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of Garret Nicholas Getz. Loving son to Robert and Carolynn Getz, brother to Sherrie (Tristan) and Robbie, Uncle to Sophia and Abel, Grandson to Barbara Getz and the late Ruth and Gerald Bennett and George Getz. Garret leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and foster brothers and sister. Garret grew up in Aldergrove, BC.  He enjoyed many activities including hockey, camping, fishing and hunting. Garret attended Thompson River University where he earned his welding certificate in January 2017. Garret will be forever remembered for his sense of humour and practical jokes.

Garret is loved by many and will be deeply missed.

The Celebration of Garret’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive. Pastor Andrew Picklyk officiating.
