It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Clark) Forman, who passed away July 8,2026, at the age of 86.
Clark was born in Wells, BC August 13, 1939, his family owned the local grocery store and was very involved in the community.
Growing up he enjoyed sports; Clark was an exceptional skier and competed in many downhill races as well as long jump events. As a family the Forman’s love to curl and at one time they even owned their own rocks.
As a younger man Clark tried on different professions which allowed him to travel throughout Canada, some of his funniest stories that his children enjoyed.
Ultimately, he returned to Wells, BC to settle down and raise his family. He spent the next chapter working for the Highway Department and was greatly missed when he retired. No one cleared the highway as wide as Clark did; you just had to ride with him to appreciate how close he would get to the edge of the road.
After retiring he moved to warmer climates and spent the remainder of his life in the South Thompson area.
Clark was predeceased by his parents James “Jim” and Lily “Lil” Forman, brother Kingsley Forman, daughter Michelle Forman, and son Dennis Forman.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister Gay Carter, children Mickey, Brenda, Jacquie, John and Jaicey. Grandchildren Kevin & Trevor McLean, Kristin & James Pedersen, Devlyn, Chelan & Teryn Forman, Travis, Victoria & Kimberly Smith and Alexis Forman along with 22 great grandchildren.
Clark will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
