JEREMY BRIAN JOSEPH WURMLINGER 1977 — 2024

JEREMY BRIAN JOSEPH WURMLINGER

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Brian Joseph Wurmlinger, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend.

Jeremy passed away March 31, 2024 Kamloops, BC after a valiant battle with cancer. He was 46 years old. Jeremy will be lovingly remembered by father Ernie, mother Marlene, brother Jeffrey (Lindsey) and nieces Georgia & Jaysah; brother Jarrett, sister Lindsay (Richard) and niece London; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jeremy was born July 19, 1977 in Kamloops, BC where he grew up. He loved the outdoors – fishing, hiking, motorbiking, mountain biking, skiing, & snowboarding. He also had a green thumb, grew a great garden and did some awesome landscapes. He worked with his Dad as a drywaller for a number of years before going north to work the pipeline. He was such a fun-loving guy, always looking for an opportunity to make somebody’s day better. “Thank you Jeremy for being such a wonderful part of our life.”

We would like to thank everyone for your messages, photos and support. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 8th floor (Gaglardi Tower) and 5th floor (main building) for your care, support and kindness. Celebration of Life will be held April 14, 2024 at the Heffley Creek Hall from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to BC Cancer Society: https://cancer.ca/en/ways-to-give/in-memory-and-in-honour-donations

    Mr. & Mrs. Wurmlinger,

We are saddened to hear of Jeremy’s passing, recalling many great days our late son Warren and his brother Graham shared with Jeremy and his brothers at your farm back in those days.

I’m glad to have spent a few days with Jeremy when he worked for Stacey Ernewein on our Heffley property a few years ago. We shared a few memories then.

    Best regards.

Dear Ernie, Marlene & family, We are so sad at the loss of Jeremy. I first met Marlene at at a ladies Bible study led by Kathleen Bucher in Rayleigh. Our families spent much time together. Jeremy was always active, friendly and fun. There was hardly a dull moment around the Wurmlinger home. My children enjoyed hanging out at their place. On our visits back to Kamloops we always enjoyed visiting with Jeremy when he was around. Our sincere condolences to Jeremy’s family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Love from The Linds in Calgary

    To the Wurmlinger family:

My deepest condolences on Jeremy’s passing. As a fellow classmate through the High School years, I was shocked to see the Facebook page for his live memorial service. May he rest in peace.

    Dear Wurmlinger family,,
I was shocked & saddened to hear of Jeremy’s passing. He was a lovely young man.
Time goes by so quickly, it seems like yesterday that he was a cute, very active little boy.
We enjoyed spending time with him, when the boys did some drywall for us out at the lake. I find holding on to all the precious moments, helps to get through the hard day.
If I can support you in anyway, please feel free to contact me. You are in our thoughts & prayers.
    Hugs Rein & Pat
