LEONARD “LEN” JUNJI NAKASHIMADA 1954 — 2024

LEONARD “LEN” JUNJI NAKASHIMADA

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Len Nakashimada, who peacefully departed this life on March 3, 2024, surrounded by his cherished family – wife Melodie, daughters Stacey (Brad) and Jessica (Ash). Len leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Len was a remarkable man whose presence illuminated the lives of everyone he encountered. His quick wit and infectious humor could brighten even the darkest of days, and his caring and positive attitude were a constant source of inspiration to all who knew him.

One of Len’s greatest joys in life was his passion for travel, which allowed him and Melodie to explore the world and create lasting memories. Whether embarking on an adventure to far-away destinations or simply enjoying quality time with family at home, Len’s adventurous spirit knew no bounds. Later in life, they purchased property in Arizona, which became his “happy place” and enjoyed the Snowbird life.

In addition to his love for travel, Len was an avid golfer who found solace and joy on the greens. Hours spent at the driving range perfecting his swing were a testament to his dedication and perseverance, traits that extended beyond the golf course into every aspect of his life.

Len was also known for his ‘vision’ when it came to home improvement projects. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for craftsmanship, he could often be found with a hammer in hand, tirelessly working to bring his creative visions to life.

Beyond his personal pursuits, Len was deeply committed to his career and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to helping businesses grow and thrive. His passion for excellence and unwavering dedication made him a trusted advisor and mentor to many.

During this difficult time, the family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of Len’s friends and loved ones for their support and kindness. Your presence and comforting words have provided strength and solace during this challenging time.

A celebration of Len’s remarkable life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Rivershore Golf Course. As we come together to honour and remember Len, let us cherish the memories we shared and take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
