Lila Teresa Peters (nee Hebert), a long-time resident of Kamloops, BC, died on August 3, 2017 at Kamloops Hospice.Lila was born on May 31, 1931 at Agate Bay, Adam Lake, BC, and is the youngest of 11 children. Lila was a warm and generous person and an avid gardener. Lila made the world a much richer place to be with her in it, she will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her husband John Peters, Lila is survived by her two daughters, Sherie Franklin & her husband Bruce and their daughters Breanna and Sarah, Daughter Patsy Parr, Sister Dorothy Dennery and family, Sister In-Law Greta Peters & Ken Moffatt, Paul and Audrey LaFave and family, Mary McKnight, Sharie and Rick Diehl and family and lots of nieces and nephews.We will be holding an informal Celebration of Lila’s life on August 16th at Desert Gardens, 540 Seymour Street, Kamloops. Doors open from 2:00pm – 4:00pm in the “Mahave” Room.
