    Hello Ted and Family:
We are very sorry to hear of Lil’s passing, such a nice Lady. I am very surprised to see she was 91, neither of you have ever looked your age. Dad and I offer our deepest condolences, and feel your pain and grief at this difficult time–we lost our Lil from Drumheller too (1931-2013). If there’s anything we can do, or if you just feel like talking, please don’t hesitate to call Dad or myself. Take strength and smile in remembering all the good times you shared together. Your friends, Jens and Chris Skov

I have such a fond memory of Lil Maskell (Adsett). A scared little boy wandering the halls of the hospital looking for my parents while waiting to have my tonsils out. Lil comforted me by reading stories until I settled down.

I was sorry to read of the passing of Lillian. Lillian was responsible for my choice of a nursing profession. I lived 2 doors away from the Adsetts and would admire Lillian as she walked to work in her flowing nurses cape with the red lining. She looked so inspiring to me. As a child I spent many a time wrapping my dolls in toilet paper dressings. I am sorry that I never had the chance to thank her for leading me towards wonderful nursing career.

I worked with Lil in the Operating Room at Royal Inland Hospital early in my career – she was a wonderful person – fondly remembered.
