Mary moved to Canada in 1979 to a beautiful town called Hope where she had two thriving businesses upon retirement in 93 .She moved to Kamloops to enjoy the sunshine and the warm weather until her passing .She went peacefully on September 3rd 2018 . She will be missed by all. She leaves behind her three children Finbar (Mary), Tony ( Lindy), Irene (Les), grandchildren Caleb, Logan (Samara), Megan( Greg), Jaaron, Erica, Rachel, Riley , her brother John (Margaret), her sister Peggy , and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.

The Funeral Mass will be recited at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Road, Kamloops BC. Reverend Father Paul Simms, Celebrant.

Our sympathies are with the family of Mary Shenton. We enjoyed the times we spent with Mary in our Red Hat and Crown Jewel outings. Mary’s friendship, stories, and humour will be missed. Our deepest condolences to Mary’s family. We always saw Mary walking by our house and she would stop to talk. My husband Delbert lived in Hope also and knew Mary from years ago. Mary always had a smile and was a kind soul. She will be missed by many and the world will not be the same with her gone.
