October 5, 1940 – May 30, 2019
David Tagle Tarlit of Lake Country, BC passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his loving wife Ligaya “Lily” Tarlit and children; Steven Tarlit of Kelowna and daughter in-law Tanya Tarlit of Kelowna, as well as grandchildren Halen Tarlit and Alexa Tarlit, and his brothers Ben Tarlit and Moises Tarlit. David was predeceased by his parents Francisco and Romana Tarlit, brothers Samuel, Leonardo and Espiritu and sister Lolita.
David loved fishing and loved spending time in the garden attending fruits and vegetables. He was also very involved with helping those in need in the Philippines through missionary work. David will be remembered as a kind, big-hearted and very generous person who will be missed by his loving family and many dear friends.
The Memorial Tea to celebrate David’s life will take place at 2:30 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 in the Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive. Friends are also invited to attend the urn burial at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Hillside Cemetery, 750 Notre Dame.
Carman was born on June 12, 1938 and passed away peacefully on May 26, 2019 from complications of Alzheimers. Carman is survived by his devoted and loving wife and companion Linda of 29 years, his son Brett (Sarah), his brother Kenny, his sisters-inlaws Edna Candido and Hazel MacDonald. He is also survived by Linda’s sister, Charmaine & Peter, sister Laura & Terry and brother Mark & Kelly, all of Toronto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents Len & Fran Candido his brothers Gary & Vern and sister-in -law Ruby Candido.
Carman was born and raised in Kamloops BC. He owned and operated Citadel Construction and Western Pacific Construction in the 1990’s and built many custom homes in the Kamloops area. Retirement was well deserved and enjoyed. Carman was a man of great integrity, honest, hardworking and compassionate.
Carman was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2012. Linda was instrumental and always there for him, helping him navigate this devastating disease. Carman was eventually placed in Gemstone Care Facility in October 2015 . Linda would like to thank all the Gemstone staff who cared for Carman over the past 4 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 located at the ANAVets Branch 290 # 9- 177 Tranquille Road, North Kamloops, BC from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Flowers are gratefully decline however, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of BC online at alzheimer.ca in Carman’s memory would be appreciated.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grace Elizabeth Feist on May 22, 2019 at Kamloops Hospice with family by her side. Grace was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Ben Feist. Grace was a beloved mother to daughters Debra (Barry), Darlene and sons Dale (Wendy) and Dwayne. Nana and Grandma to 8 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild . Grace was a true matriarch of her family. Her home was where the family gathered for Sunday dinners, holidays and spent countless Summer days under the grapes. We will remember her for being a feisty woman who wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion. She was strong and taught us all to love hard. We will miss our Mom, Nanny/ Grandma dearly. The family would like to thank Kamloops Hospice. Donations to Kamloops Hospice in moms name would be greatly appreciated. There will be no service as per Grace’s request. There will be a family gathering at a later date.
Nov 22, 1957 – May 21, 2019
A long term resident of Overlander Residential Care , Dianne is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Lingren of Kamloops, her brother, Jeffrey (Kathy) Lingren of Revelstoke, her sister Karen (Dustin) Khadikin of Kamloops, her brother Warren (Kim) Lingren of Kamloops. Numerous nieces and nephews and one grand neice.
There will be no formal service, if friends so desire donations to the M.S. Society of B.C. would be appreciated.
Martha Lesperance, at the age of 90 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 18, 2019. She was born October 24, 1928 to Rudolph & Natalie Kelm and raised in Stuttgart, Germany.
Martha journeyed to Canada in 1949 to Pearce, AB to reunite with her sister Millie. It was there she met her true love Thomas Lesperance & they were married on December 2, 1950. They moved to Kamloops, BC in July 1964 with their beautiful daughters.
For many years Martha worked chambermaiding at the Village Hotel, but her true loves in life were her family, gardening and baking. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost and she treasured her role as Oma. She was the definition of hard work, independence and strength.
Martha will be tremendously missed. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Lesperance and grandson Brandon Tate; survived by daughters Marlene (Gary) Stanley, Teresa (Charlie) Tate & Bonny Lesperance; grandchildren Tammy (Tony) Marsico, Michelle (Wayne) Quenneville, Candice Stanley (Norm) & Christopher Stanley; 6 Great Grandchildren, her brother in Germany and her many nieces and nephews. Whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Pine Grove Care Centre for the care they provided her, and they would also like to thank the Kamloops Funeral Home.
There will be no service held as Martha’s request was that you remember her for the way she touched all our hearts.
