I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing. Uncle Ron always had a special spot in my heart. I have great memories of all the laughs and fun we had with him as a child.

Uncle Ron, like all his brothers was a gentleman.
I spent the summer in Quesnel in 1964 working with him in his cleaning business. It was a great summer. I enjoyed being with him.

You were always my favourite uncle. I remember the biggest snow men you used to help us make. I also remember every May Day parade and picnic with our two families. ( I also remember you driving with 8 kids piled in the VW bug) on the side walk on May Day, when the streets were empty. The many nights we watched home movies, and you making us toast and cocoa for a movie snack. Rest In Peace, you can now be joined with Auntie Rhoda, the love of your life!

Oh my goodness, I was so engrossed in my memories I didn’t give my condolences. Ellen and Kenny, Iam so sorry for your loss. Your dad had a good life but when they are gone it is so “forever”. So many times in the last couple years since our parents passed I have wanted to pick up the phone and tell them something they would have enjoyed. You had a terrific dad and that will never leave you. Thinking of you.

We were so sorry to here of Uncle Ron’s passing. He was a lovely man. Enjoyed his music, his quiet humour, his love of family. My first memory was of him teasing my mother, his older sister Greta. I would have been about 4 and kicked him in the shins, told him to leave my mom alone. He forever teased me about that. Said he had many a laugh about the memory. Rest in peace Uncle Ron. You lived a good life.
