With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious momma, Sharon Luella Gurney (nee MacIlroy) who passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 20,2026 following a brief illness.

Sharon was a devoted daughter, niece, sister, aunt and wife to the late William (Bill) of 60 years; a guiding mother and mother-in-law to Lisa, Janis (Jay) and Steven (Michelle); a proud grandmother and great-grandmother; and a generous friend to many.

Our leader, our organizer, our role model, our inspiration. We are lost without you momma and there are no words that can ever express how much we love, appreciate and miss you.

A private family ceremony will follow.
