Vern Gerald Monsen of Kamloops passed away suddenly on Thursday October 15th 2020 at 75 years of age. Survived by his loving wife Bonnie, daughters Sherry Jones, Corinna Monsen, and son Kevin (Amber) Monsen. Grandsons Jason (Alyssa) Jones and Tyler (Casey) Jones. Grandaughters Alysia and Sophie Monsen. Vern was also survived by two brothers and five sisters. He was predeceased by daughter Candace. He drove for BC Transit for 25 years in Chilliwack until he retired in Kamloops. Vern will be laid to rest beside his daughter Candace in Sorrento BC.

Vern was a great dad and influenced not only his own kids but also many of their friends. Heidi always took pride in that she too became a bus driver like Vern.
