In Loving Memory of Harbans Singh Gill of Kamloops, BC. 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Harbans Singh Gill on September 5, 2026 at the age of 84.

Harbans Singh is survived by his loving wife Paramjit Kaur Gill, Son Jaskarn Singh Gill (Aman), daughters Rupe Mahal (Sunveer), Sukhraj Prashar (Ron), Bal Ollek (Jason) and 8 grandchildren Amaryn, Amarah, Ishaan, Vaaren, Jaia, Ameera, Waris and Safina. Pre deceased by his parents Sawarn Singh and Nasib Kaur Gill, sister Gian Kaur Shangara, three brothers Dilbag Singh Gill, Ajit Singh Gill, and Gian Singh Gill

He was a man known for his persistence, determination, and unwavering strength. Throughout his life, he worked hard to provide for and care for his family.

Harbans originally immigrated to Avola, BC in 1970, then to Vavenby and ultimately settling in Kamloops, BC.

He spent many years working at the sawmill/pulp mill in Savona, British Columbia, where his strong work ethic and perseverance were a reflection of the man he was.

Harbans will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His persistence, strength, love of family, and the memories he created throughout his life will remain with us always.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, September 13th, 2026 in the Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC

Followed by prayers and lunch at Gurdwara Sahib, 1345 Ord Road, Kamloops, BC
