It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Helen Lena Phillips, of Kamloops BC, February 9, 2021. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Fred Phillips, Son Brian Phillips (with his wife Mischele Phillips), and Helen’s daughter Joanne Phillips. Helen has loving grandchildren Jessica (and Kyle) Jack, and Jason Phillips (and Katrina) who both had the amazing miracle of growing up with the love of their Grandpa Fred and Nana Helen. Helen was very close to her sister Annette in Alberta, and her sister Lavona, and Dorothy. Helen was predeceased by her forth sister Irene, as well as her mother Lena Nile. Helen was born in Alder Flats, Alberta and relocated to BC where she & Fred raised their family. Helen worked various jobs including patient placement at the hospital. After retiring, she volunteered her time at the hospital as well as other organizations. She made many friends along the way who will remember her fondly for her never ending kindness, thoughtfulness, compassion and dedication to others’ wellbeing and happiness. We miss her dearly, we know she will always be remembered for the impact she had on so many lives. Rest in peace dear soul.
