Don was a wonderful breath of fresh air. No matter how busy the work day, he was always ready with a witty comment or a comedic impression (the count from sesame street while saying out call sign). He always made us smile and the day all the better for just being a friendly voice on the radio, or letting us plug into the call takers line on quiet cross coverage.
He will be sorely missed.
Dear Grace, Larissa and Emily, please accept our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry to hear about Don. It was always fun to watch and listen to him cheering Emily and the girls on at soccer, we know he’ll always be cheering for you.

Don was the kind of parent I loved to see – fun, supportive of Larissa and Emily’s activities and a caring person in every respect. Don was always at all of the girl’s performances and always had a smile and a friendly word. My condolences go out to all of you. I know Don will be missed but I am sure you have many amazing memories to help you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
