Linda Hargreaves, born on January 19, 1936, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Herbert, and her son, Earl.
Linda is survived by her children: her son Glen and his wife, Cindy, and her daughter Iris and her husband, Robert. She was a proud grandmother to Krystal and her husband, Dave; David and his wife, Christina; and Sara and her husband, Casey. Linda was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren: Shania, Addison, Payton, Dillon, Ashley, Parker, Haley, Bennett, Quinn, and Avangeline, who were the true lights of her life.
Linda had a deep love for the gospel and a very strong faith, which was a source of comfort and strength to her and her loved ones. She dedicated much of her life to volunteering, offering her time and compassion to help children and seniors in her community. With a large extended family, Linda was like a mother to many, always providing love, guidance, and support.
Mom taught us how to laugh, how to love, how to forgive, and how to find joy even in sorrow. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Linda requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice, continuing her legacy of giving and helping those in need.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Linda’s life.

Our precious friend will be missed. We are happy we saw her in May. She was like a mother and grandmother to our family. Even though, for the first time she didn’t know us she still had her sense of humour and teased Bob! She was heartily loved by all of us! We know she truly lived for eternity! She was the best example of a true Christian! We loved her so much!!!
We are so glad we had the opportunity to get to know Linda. She was a beautiful soul!
From Vanderhoof days to today, I am glad that my life’s journey included Linda … memories of always a welcome…

We loved going to Herb & Linda’s for Wednesday Bible study 50 years ago and Linda was so tickled to see us again when we we moved to the interior several years ago. Always good fellowship and hospitality in their home.

I have fond memories of Linda. We went to Kamloops High School in the 50’s. Linda was so kind, friendly and happy.
She was a wonderful friend to my mother Edna Dunham. They shared a love of the gospel and spent many hours together studying and enjoying each others company.
Sincere sympathy and love to all the family. Hazel
