Rodger Duane Neufeld passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital with family in attendance.
He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on July 27, 1950, and passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 73.
He was predeceased by his wife Beverly Hosker, and his mother and father, Agnes and Henry Neufeld. He is survived by his children Heather, and Janessa and her daughter Everly, whom Rodger loved and adored; brothers Reg (Nancy), and Lonnie (Sharon); and sisters Tanya Matson (nee Neufeld) and Marsha Danon Bains (nee Neufeld).
Rodger dedicated himself as a Constable in the RCMP and retired after 30 years of service. He always looked forward to his coffee dates with friends and a game of scrabble. He was constantly learning about history which is evident in his vast collection of books and memorabilia. He spent many hours making models of planes and tanks. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by many.

Gone but not forgotten Brother.
Roger was my troopmate. I will miss him dearly.
Sincerest condolences. Rodger and I were stationed at Chase Detachment in the 1970’s and I enjoyed running in to him occasionally when Starbucks still had a coffee shop at the Kamloops Chapters store. He was a good man and I’m very saddened to learn of his passing.
Rest in Peace my friend. Warmest condolences to Heather and Janessa from Ruth and I.
