On the morning of March 8th with close family and friends by her side Kathy began her ascent to the gates of heaven, as the heavy gates swung open there stood her beloved husband Keith her son Cole, mother Frances and father Benjamin. All awaiting her arrival with open arms.
Her life spent here was a gift to all whom knew or got the chance to meet her. She formed life- long friendships with ease and cared deeply for those around her. With her endearing personality she inevitably touched the lives of everyone she met in a way that will prove to be everlasting.
Kathy was born in Swift Current Saskatchewan and was the second eldest of seven. She moved to Kamloops at 18 and was proud to call Kamloops her home for 47 years.
Kathy fought a brave battle against cancer, always staying positive her courage never wavered and to the amazement of the health professionals and her family she won round one. But to the dismay of her loved ones the Cancer won round two.

I worked with both Keith and Kathy at Weyerhaeuser in the 1970-80s era. You cherished each other then and you’re now back together to cherish each other once more.
Corey and family,
My prayers heart and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
God has embraced your Mom and made a place with Him in Heaven.
May she Rest in Peace
Kathy and Keith were our backyard neighbors. My 2 young daughters spent many days waving and yelling hello to Kathy. Every day when I look out my back window I think of Kathy. Yesterday we heard the back gate open, my kids yelled “It’s Kathy”. I knew she was with us, enjoying the sunshine. She will be missed dearly.
My life was touched quite deeply by Kathy, and she will forever hold a piece of my heart. Many tears and hugs between us helped to form a strong connection and love for each other. I will always miss her sweet smile and loving presence in my life.
I find peace in knowing that she has been reunited with Keith and Cole, and look forward to having them there to welcome me when it’s my turn.
Until we meet again, Kathy.
Rest in paradise. ❤️
Kathy,Keith and young boys were our next door neighbours and became friends that we enjoyed and loved to spend time with. Were guest’s at our two daughters wedding’s and spent many summer evenings around their pool laughing till the sun went down.
We shall treasure those times. A wonderful lady and family to be sure. We will miss your infectious smile and laugh always Kathy.
Till we all meet again, rest in peace our dear friend Kathy xxx
We were so sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing. She was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour and always had a smile on her face.
We are so sorry to hear that Kathy has passed away. She and Keith were our neighbors when we lived in Meadowlark. We enjoyed visiting with them and talking to Keith as he “walked“ Casey and Finnegan…his two pals. Kathy was a wonderful, happy person. She helped us when we were moving….mowed our lawn..took boxes to the thrift stores and many more things. She was always happy and friendly and we will always have fond memories of them both.
Sincere sympathy to the family.
I worked with Kathy at Flynn Mirtle Moran and just heard of her passing. My condolences to her family. She was a great lady and will be dearly missed by all.
