April 19, 1939 – March 11, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Barbara on March 11, 2017, at the age of 77. She passed away peacefully after a six year struggle with cancer, with family by her side at the Royal Inland Hospital.

Barbara is survived by her two daughters Barbara Yelle, Darlene Yelle and one son Jean Claude Yelle, her four siblings Margaret Zadworny Johnny Barry, Patrick Barry, Dean Barry, adopted son Shea Miller, many great nieces and nephews, long time family friend Dan Foord, and her two beloved grandchildren Jamie Yelle and Joseph Yelle.

She is predeceased by her parents Margaret and John Barry, brother Bernard Barry and her grandson Joshua Yelle. Barbara lived a long and happy life, with many good friends and family whom loved her dearly. Barbara’s joy in life was her two grandchildren Jamie Yelle and Joseph Yelle and daughter Barbara Yelle, as well as her friends Joe Topolewski, and Bea Eisler. Barbara was a devoted member of the OLPH Church in many ways. She will be forever missed by all who knew her, and will stay in our hearts and memories forever. Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.

A special thanks to home support nurses, John and Dan who brought her weekly prescriptions, nurses and staff at the Royal Inland Hospital on 3 West and to all who helped in mom’s care.

Prayers will be recited Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Father Paul Simms officiating.
