With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce that Betty passed away peacefully at home in Kamloops after a long battle with diabetes related illnesses.  She was with her loving spouse of 37 years, Denny Holland.  Betty was born and raised in New Westminster and was predeceased by her parents and brothers George, John and Ed.  She is survived by daughter Tammy (Alan) Lachapelle, Randy (Donna) and Kirk Hopkins, sisters Ellen Andrews and Ada Hamilton, brothers Art (Carol), Bill, Ken (Connie), 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Barb Wylie and family. There will be no formal service by request. Donations to the diabetes foundation would be greatly appreciated.  Betty will be remembered fondly and with smiles.  Rest in peace knowing we love you and you will always be remembered.
