Surrounded by loving family, Bev passed away peacefully on April 9, 2014 at the age of 74.
Bev is survived by her husband Dennis, son Terry (Sharon), daughter Denise (Paul), grandson Kurt and granddaughter Bethany. She was predeceased by her daughter Loanne, Mother Olive Walsh and Stepfather Jack Walsh.
Bev lived life to the fullest even though declining health in the past several years proved most challenging. In earlier years, she loved to cook and entertain in her home. Her husband used to say, “You are cooking enough to feed an army!” Bev’s home was where her heart was and family and friends were special in her life. She also had a passion for crocheting and making crafts and created many unique and cherished items.
Bev was part of a nursing team at TranquilleSchool from 1964 to 1972. She then worked for Statistics Canada and CMHC from 1975 to 2000. In her younger years, she fostered several children while raising her own 3 children. She so enjoyed those years.
At Bev’s request, there will be no formal service. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2:30-4:30 in the Oak Room at the North Shore Community Centre (Cottonwood Manor).
If so desired, donations may be made to the Kamloops Food Bank, 171 Wilson Street, Kamloops, BC, V2B 2M8.

To Bev’s family, please accept my condolences on your loss. I only met Bev a few times but always found her to be a very gracious and happy person despite her declining health. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet her.
Bev was and will always be, a light in my heart that God has so blessed me to say that ‘yes, I knew Bev’ and she was so kind, generous, thoughtful of others and I enjoyed her great sense of humour. God bless and you are all in my prayers and thoughts. With love from:
Donna Ball (nee: Elliot)
