Clara Myer of Kamloops passed away on March 2, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband Walter “Wally”, brother Edwin “Ed” (Lin), nieces Colleen Shonwise and Shelly Biglow. She was predeceased by her father in 1950, mother in 1975, and sister Irene (Wayne) in 2011. Wally and Clara were married in June 1952. Clara was not only my wife, she was my lover and my very best friend. We moved from the Lower Mainland to Kamloops in 1967. We have resided in various parts of the city, moving into Cottonwood Manor in 1997. Clara loved this area because of the beautiful surrounding countryside and the various lakes. Special thanks to the R.I.H. staff on 5th, 6th, and 7th floors and a very special thanks to Dr. Mavis Hollman. Memorial donations may made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation or Kamloops Hospice, in memory of my beloved Clara.
