It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Colleen (Lee) Leask on February 2, 2026, slipping peacefully away surrounded by her family.

Colleen was born in Sudbury, Ontario and grew up in Prince George BC,. She moved with her parents in 1967 to Kamloops, BC where she resided until her passing.

Kamloops is also where she completed her schooling and met and married her husband Herbert “Bert” Blair Leask. Colleen and Bert brought into the world two children, Scott & Jennifer, and were later blessed with the birth of their granddaughter Mia who was the joy of their life.

Colleen worked many years at The Plaza Hotel and later at Whitespot Restaurant until her retirement.

Throughout her life she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, she enjoyed being with her family and talking about all they were doing, especially if the subject was her adoring Mia.

Colleen is survived by her loving family, son Scott Leask, daughter Jennifer (Lenny Kazakoff) Leask, granddaughter Mia Kazakoff, sister Carolanne (Garth) Brunn, nieces Tanya Chapman, Naomi Wright and nephews Shawn Chapman and Ryan Wright.

Colleen is predeceased by her husband Herbert Leask, parents Alfreda and David Janzen, her brother Scott Janzen, her sister Daveen Wright and neice Crystal Wright.
