It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Frank Shumborski, of Kamloops, BC, on September 8, 2025, at the age of 89.
Frank was born on March 19, 1936, in Tomahawk, Alberta, to Harry and Anna Shumborski. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Steve, Andrew, Peter and Walter, and his sisters Marion and Helen.
Frank will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Remy, with whom he shared many joyful years. They met on the dance floor in Kamloops on June 15, 1991, and shared a love for fishing together.
He is also survived by his sister Ruby, his cherished niece Marilyn, along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and great-grandnieces, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Prayers will be held on Friday, September 19 at 6:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 20 at 12:00 PM, with Father Thomas Arackal officiating.
Frank will be remembered for his kind heart, love of nature, and deep devotion to his family and friends.

I am writing this on behalf of Terry ( Andrew’s son) and also my son David Shumborski, both of whom have very fond memories of Frank. Terry is unfortunately not here to know of Frank’s passing. David sends his condolences as do I.
