With deep sorrow and sense of loss, our family announces the peaceful passing of our mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Georgette, on August 21, 2024.
Mom was the 6th child of 11 children born to Jerald and Yvonne Larose in Dryden, Ontario. She worked as an LPN until she met our Dad who worked for the CAF. They traveled to many places due to work assignments in Canada & abroad, US, Bermuda, Inuvik, Holberg, BC to name a few, before settling down in Kamloops. Mom was very busy raising her 5 kids but eventually went back to work as a Care Aide at Ponderosa Lodge for another 15 years before her retirement. Family was always her number one priority and her pride and joy. Later becoming a loving grandma to many and great grandma (Nana) to 5 five more.
She will be forever remembered by her Children, Joanne, Lisa (Gino), Cheryl (Mark), George, and Natalie (John). Her Grandchildren, Ashleigh (Kevin), Quinton, Bryce, Zachery, Jarod, Jacob, Joshua, Jaden. Her Great Grandchildren, Aliyah, Brooklynn, Jasmine, Mitchell and Lucas. She is also survived by her sister Gisele and Brother Jacques, as well as many other relatives, too many to name.

What a beautiful and ‘true to her’ obituary in honor of your Mom…. She was truly a lovely person who will be sadly missed by so many…. I remember visiting you guys when the kids were little and Joanne and Lisa too (I believe) babysat them while we went out for a night on the town with MaTante Georgette and Uncle Ed…they were so much fun to be around….. hugs to all of you and my deepest condolences and love to all 5 of you.
Joanne, Natalie, Lisa and the rest of your Family, I am so sad to read of your mom’s passing. Your mom was a beautiful lady and she made me feel so welcomed the first time I met her. Please know I am thinking of you all…

Sympathie to the familly. Georgette was a cousin. Her mom was the sister of my mother. Sorry to hear about your loss.
I remember seeing her at my grandfathers store in Lac Ste-thérèse, Ontario. When she came to visit my grandmother Yvonne Larose-Gratton, she used to come to our home with her husband Eddy. I wish to offer my condolences to all members of her family.
