So sad to hear of Gerry’s passing. She was a beautiful soul inside and out!
So sad to hear of Gerry’s passing, we went to school together and remained friends through the following years. We reconnected on social media a few years ago, always loved the beautiful pictures of flowers she posted on a 60’s + site. Rest In Peace Gerry, in the loving arms of God and your dear husband who went on before, will always remember you with fondness. Gerry and her family lived on the road behind behind us, our house was on the corner of Minnie Ave and Front street.
We are saddened to hear of Gerry’s passing!
Both Bill and Gerry were very good friends with my parents (Fred & Rolande) and spent numerous evenings playing cards together! Gerry was a beautiful lady…always smiling!
Our sincere condolences to Sherri, Tammy, and families

Sister dear, we will miss you, your laughter and enjoyment telling jokes, unfortunately COVID stop any physical contact. You liked exchanging photos of Mom’s cacti, ours are putting out flower buds again, I’m sure that is you sending your love to us from on high

Rest In Peace Auntie Gerry. You will be missed. I loved your sense of humour. I will miss all of the good times that we shared. I know that you remember Lonesome Charlie. You will be missed by all my family.

I worked with Gerry for many years at Ponderosa Lodge . She was a joy to be with . She had a great wit and sense of humour and always called a spade a spade.
I also had the good fortune to know Bill also and they were a great team and always had a quick smile whenever I met up with them.
She will be missed.
My condolences to the family . Sincerely Zena Menard
My deepest condolences to Gerry’s family. Gerry was an angel and a blessing to hundreds of residents and staff over the years at Ponderosa Lodge. She made life better for so many many people. Please always know that.
So sorry to hear of my sisters passing.
Due to my medical condition I’m unable to attend the service. Please except our condolences.
Rest in peace, dearest Gerry. I will forever remember the “absolute fun times” and laughs you and Bill shared with my parents, Ray and Val Calder, and family. You were both such kind and caring people to me, as a child growing up in Fort Frances. Baseball games would never be the same, once you and Dad hung up the gloves. Thank you for your forever friendship to our whole family. We will miss you both. Love and Hugs to all your family. Sincerely, Pat Cupp (Calder) and Family. xo
We miss you Gerry. Rest in peace as your pain is now gone . Too soon the remaining family will be joining you on the next phase of life. Our condolences to the family . Be strong as the pain will pass but we will not forget.

To Gerry’s family. So sad to hear of Gerry’s passing. We worked together at the Y Womens Emergency Shelter (aka Y Womens Hostel) back in the 70s. We used to run into each other over the years. Lovely woman. Deepest condolences.
Dear Family of Gerry
Our sincere sympathy to all the family. We met Gerry (and Bill) several times at Earl (and Maureen’s) home. Such a lovely lady, full of care and compassion and also a great sense of humour. May all the wonderful memories brighten your difficult days. Our thoughts and prayers to all the family. Love Greg and Kathy Mercure
Gerry was a wonderful sister in law my heart is so full of sadness and emptiness. I felt Gerry would be around for ever out live us all she graced us with many stories and lots of funny jokes. We couldn’t wait for her to arrive during summer vacation to grace us with her presence. I did have the pleasure of visiting Gerry a few months ago on 2 different occasions and as usual it was wonderful. Gerry reached out to me a week before she passed , our talk was extraordinary I felt in my heart she was missing Bill and other family members I will never forget you Gerry it was your time God Bless You . To Sherri ,Tamara and Family love Joan
I’m so incredibly sorry to hear the loss of your beautiful mother. Aunty Gerry was such an incredible woman we all loved dearly and were honoured to call Aunty.
Hours of storytelling, jokes, letting me play spa day, where I’d comb her hair and paint her nails for hours. I could tell her anything… she’d always listen and speak to me in such a kind a gentle way.
Aunty Gerry was a huge encouragement in my passion for singing, dancing and acting. Organizing performances for my brother Ryan and I at the Ponderosa Lodge where she worked. “The Cullen Entertainers” on the agenda board made me feel like a star!
I’m so grateful for our last visit. My kids still talk about pizza, jokes and riddles at Aunty Gerry’s house!
I’m shocked and saddened she is gone and yet happy she is reunited with Uncle Bill and loved ones. ♥️ Her love and light will live on forever!
Love you,
Cassandra, Chris, Vera and Cullen Frederickson
