Mr. Chave and my dad, Jim Obana were good friends for many years. I have many, many fond memories of them together. Mr. Chave was a good friend and like a gentle giant. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Chave family at this time.
Harriett, my dear friend, Jan and I offer our deepest sympathies to you and the family. Jacques was always a pleasant person whenever I visited. I will miss our handshakes when I visit in the future. RIP Jacques.

Harriett, Ken and I wish to send you our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jacques. Though we knew you more than we did of Jacques, he was always friendly whenever we met. We hope he didn’t have to suffer long.
Rest in peace, Jacques.
Jacques and I worked together for nearly 10 years in the Engineering Department at CFJC Radio and TV in Kamloops. Jacques list of notable accomplishments there is truly amazing; suffice to say he had a hand in every technical aspect of the network and was instrumental in bringing radio and TV to not only the greater Kamloops area, but also to the Cariboo. It was always a good project to work on when Jacques was on the team as you knew the job was going to get done. Jacques had a great positive outlook on life and was a great colleague to work with. Many times we worked and/or had to travel in adverse conditions and whether the snow was deep, the track muddy or battling wind and rain I was confident we would get home safely when Jacques was there. I will miss him, Jacques was a good man.
