June 17, 1981 – March 14, 2017
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of James Randall Simpson at the age of 35 years. James was born June 17, 1981 and met his unfortunate and untimely demise on March 14, 2017 in Kamloops B.C.
James is survived by his seven year old son Cullen Davies, Mother Cheryl Simpson, Sister Rhonda Simpson, Niece Letetia Simpson, Great-nephew Alhija Randall, Aunts and Uncles Larry and Linda Simpson, Tim and Michelle Simpson, Graham Simpson, Rose Simpson, Loretta Westerager and Clay Allen. He was predeceased by his father Randall Shelley.
James loved spending time with his family and friends. His passions were working on vehicles, riding his bike around town, hiking, camping, and most of all spending time and taking care of his friends and family without hesitation. His big blue eyes and smile could light up any room he entered. His giant heart made it easy to tell what kind of man he was. No matter what situation or task was put before him he would overcome.
A Celebration of James Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel (285 Fortune Drive).
If you wish to make a donation in James memory please forward them to Cheryl Simpson.
A special thanks to all the family and friends from Ontario, British Columbia and across the country.

Condolences to Cheryl, Rhonda, Letitia and all the family living in BC. He was a very handsome lad and he will never be forgotten. He is now with his dad and grandparents who will look after him. From Grandma Shelley and Aunt Carol and Uncle John.
I find myself questioning how many more people God can take from this family before they have lived a lengthy life and I have no answers.
James was a good kid and a fine young man, he will be thought of daily like all the rest up there and even though death is tragic it brings a smile to my face to know that he is not alone and there was a long line of relatives to greet him.
Aunt Cheryl, Rhonda and Letetia, you will all get through this as you are strong women and strong women cope with tragedy under cover as to not show a weakness to others. It breaks my heart that I cannot be there for you, just know that we love and miss you all.
RIP James
