Jean Ethel Glenn, 91, died Easter Good Friday April 18, 2025, in Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops B.C. She was born on July 9, 1933, to John and Ethel Annis in Tisdale Saskatchewan.
Jean had 5 siblings, and 9 children of her own, with many grand, great grand, and great-great grandchildren.
She worked as a care giver all her life, retiring from Overlander Residential Care in 1999. Whether they be children, elderly, or the chronically ill she cared and brought comfort to many in need, as well as their loved ones. She leaves an indelible footprint on the lives of many.
Having grown up on a Saskatchewan farm, she was a country girl at heart. An avid gardener, able to start a fire on a dime, she was always ready to provide a home cooked meal with a side of common-sense advice plus a drink or two.
An avid Canucks fan, she leaves behind many who cared for her. She will be missed. Upon request, no formal funeral service is being held. She had a special relationship with her ALS patients, and as such, any donations are welcome to the ALS Society of BC.
