She was predeceased by her brothers in-law, Frank, Bill and Jack.
Joan was born in New Westminster April 14, 1938 and raised in Kamloops as a city girl. She met her husband Bruce, a country boy at the Falkland Stampede where it was love at first sight. They lived on Silver Star Mountain in Vernon where they raised their two children and she learned to be a country girl. They moved to the Dawson Creek area, then back to the interior where they made their home in Enderby.
Joan loved her family, loved to travel, go on mini-adventures, visit a casino and cheer loudly for the Vancouver Canucks and BC Lions.
Joan will be deeply and dearly missed by all that knew her.
A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 pm, Sunday June 24th, 2018 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive.
Memorial donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Spinal Cord Injury BC.

Hi Vicki and Rod
The Christmas card that I sent her came back last month and I’ve been trying to find out why. Just found this announcement today. Loved Joan and sorry to hear she is no longer with us.
